Since I'm out of photos here's my own take on CNY.

Wednesday
Performances: hard to see because there are so many people around, but overall not bad
Street market: our juniors' stall looked like a pile of used disposable cups with no one manning the stall... tsk tsk :P
Lao yu sheng: ended up mostly on the floor/on peoples' hair. I had the misfortune to be across the table from peiwen
Mass dance: the pictures say it all. suffices to say I dao-ed and just took photos. but I really think the 2nd photo is nice... isn't it?

After school: shuyuan made me watch equilibrium! in which the uber-violent protagonist racks up the highest body count of any movie according to moviebodycounts.com (a total of 118 kills)

Thursday
Lao yu sheng again
Visit relatives, collect hongbao, etc. etc.
I got an amount that comes to 5sf!

Friday
Staying at home waiting for people to visit us
Got to know our neighbours better (since we just moved in June last year, this is first CNY with them)

Up and coming:
13 Feb: X-country! yay
14 Feb: time to buy presents for our angels/mortals... uh oh
15 Feb: total defense day, whatever that means for us
21 Feb: results for winner of bid to host Youth Olympics announced!
