Hi everyone,
I'm sure you all have passed by the canteen and noticed the Strings poster and booth set up there. And you've heard the announcement and my playing in CT period. So, if you want to hear more of it(and a lot of better players too-we have a very strong intake this year), come to the HCSE(Hwa Chong String Ensemble) Concert on the 29th of May, 7.30pm at Victoria Concert Hall. Tickets are $10 only... rather cheap for the location and the acoustics that come along with it. AND our conductor is simply the best. He has almost no resistance. ^^
Oh, and my teacher will be playing a Vivaldi cello concerto. Guaranteed to own anyone on any instrument in our school. We're also playing Last Round by Golijov(don't even consider looking for a recording. It was composed in 1996. We'll sound better anyway=p)and the Serenade for Strings by Tchaikovsky.
So if you want to come, don't bother running all the way to the booth at the canteen to buy tickets. Just get them straight off me - it's much more convenient.
Jiayou for SYF, all those in performing arts groups! The high school side GGed so it falls to us to do better.
